Day in the life: February 13, 2025

This morning, I got up and ready for the day. I was actually surprised that they did not close us but it's okay. Hopefully this storm will wait until I get home. 

I made it to work and managed to see as it started to snow at nine am. My work sent me home about an hour later and the roads were already started to get bad. I did managed to stay to the main roads because that way if My dad had to get me then he could.

It took me nearly an hour to get home and then I just relaxed for the rest of the day. 

We will see if we have to work tomorrow. 

Driving in the snow

 I am not a fan of driving in the snow but it's either this or just wait for my dad. It took me nearly an hour to get home.

Possible snow?

 We are supposed to get snow on February 13 to 14th so we will see. 

Return to work on March 1

 On February 27, I was hoping to be able to come back to work following the snowstorm however since they did not plow our roads. I just had to wait until March 1st.

I was able to come into work for a few hours.

This morning we got up and just relaxed for the morning before heading down to the car so that way we could move it out of the way for the plows to come through. Sadly the plows did not come today.

We just watched movies and relaxed for the rest of the day. I did end up having to text out for tomorrow with my car being stuck in the snow.

Snow socks fail

We found out that my socks were off on my car and that's why I could not make it up the hill.

This morning, my dad said that I should be fine to go to work and come back later tonight but he was super wrong. It started to snow down there. But wait I am getting to far and need to tell you about the drive down to work.

It was hard because I could not see when I was driving down and knew that I would not have been able to make it back home. I needed to wait for the snow plow to come back through and boy did they not come through.

I ended up being stuck down in Vancouver for hours on end and had to wait for my parents to get down before I even tried to come back.

Snow Day: February 14, 2023

 This year it started to snow on February 13, 2023 into the next day. It's been snowing off and on for many hours so hopefully I can get things done.

Truth be told that I did not do anything today that was worth while.
