Today, I am sitting here, thinking why I like my birthday so much. See I know that you should look at your birthday as turning another year older but I don't. I look at it as another year of celebration.

Life is short and therefore it needs to be celebrated. It's okay to celebrate.

2023 blog schedule

I have decided to keep posting Monday thru Friday. I will only be doing every day in the month of December unless otherwise said before the new month.

2023 Goals

 My goals for this upcoming year are pretty simple and straight forward.

1. Drink more water and less pop

2. Eat more non-dairy items.

Work Vlog: December 19 to 23

 Welcome back to the final work vlog of 2022. We are officially on break as of December 22nd! We were supposed to work until December 23rd but thanks to a massive ice storm, it forced the daycare to close.

Monday: Today was a short day since we did not have that many children. We were supposed to get snow up where I live so it was nice to come home early. Also, two of the management staff came together to get me my Secret Santa gift since someone messed up.

Tuesday: Today was another good day.

Wednesday: Today was a good but long day.

Thursday: Today was another short day since we only had six kids in our class so I asked if I could go home early. 

Friday: Today we ended up getting noticed around 5am saying that the daycare was closed. I will be working on my star's hours.

Secret Santa Haul or not?

 So last week, we were supposed to do secret Santa and of course I somehow got skipped but two of our bosses stepped in and made it right.

The first thing that they got me was a candle. It's a little weird scent but it's okay. The second thing that they got me was a Harry Potter candle. It was funny because I already have that calendar. The third thing that they got me was a hot cocca packet which is good because it looks like that it doesn't have milk in it. The fourth thing that they got me was a crown plate.

Monday: I was forced to call out when my tire popped when I was heading to work.

Tuesday: Today was a good but stressful day when I found out that they are changing my work schedule for the winter.

Thursday: Today was an okay day but I had to leave early because there was a forecast of snow.

Work Vlog: November 28 to December 2nd

 Welcome back to another work vlog! This week was a weird week because I did not go to work for two days due to the snow. Don't worry, I have two days in the lives for the days that we had snow.

Monday: Today was pretty crazy with the kids. When I got home, we did end up with snow.

Tuesday: Today I woke up knowing that there was a chance that I was not going to go to work because we were expecting more snow.

Wednesday: I did not go to work today due to the snow again.

Thursday: Today was an okay day with the kids.

Friday: Today was another okay day with the kids. One of our kids turned out not to be feeling well after they woke up from their nap.

Wednesday: I got home right before grandma, my sister, and her family showed up. We had a nice dinner and just relaxed.

Today we got up and went Black Friday shopping before trying to head for Shari's and of course they were open. We finally decided to go to Denny's and then went to Home Depot to get a new kitchen items.

We finally went to Dutch Bros and then headed home where my dad decided that he wanted me to watch this new movie that was boring as all get out. I finally went upstairs to watch something different.

This morning, we got up and went to the store and then to Dutch Bros. We made it back before I had to take something back to my sister.

I got home and we started to make the side dishes and put the turkey in. Of course it only took three hours for the turkey to cook. I think next year, we are going to wait until 4 hours before we go to eat.

We started to watch Christmas movies before having family over and then it was time for bed.

So on Monday I was trying to get down to go work despite of the ICE and snow. I made it about half way when my tire light came on and sure enough soon after I heard a noise that I knew was not a good noise to hear.

It was clear as day that I had a flat tire.

This morning, I went to work and got a text message around lunch time and I almost didn't look because it was starting to get depressing. We were given the all clear to go home.

I got off of work and headed to the hotel because I did not know what the plan was. We just schedule for two more days at the hotel and then we were given the okay. We decided that at least my mom and I would be home.

Fire update: Four days

 We have four days of fire updates to share with you.

Thursday (10/20)- All evacuations have been lifted and we are able to return home

Friday (10/21)- The containement level is now at 30% and the fire has stopped growing finally

Saturday (10/22)- The containement level is now at 43% and the fire has not grown in two days.

Sunday (10/23)- The containement level is now at 54% and the fire has not grown in three days

This morning, we got up and got to relaxed just a little bit before getting ready to go.

Around 10:47am, I received news that we were in level two and that we needed to get ready to leave.

Around 11:15am, I received news that we were in level three and that it was time to get out of our house.

We were supposed to have my grandpa up at the house but now we can't. We made it back to Vancouver before 3pm. We made it up to the house to get some clothes and dad's truck.

Hopefully we can go home in a few days.

We were on the way to Halloweentown and went to look for a parking spot when a bus was behind me and I heard a noise. It's scared me.

I looked outside and thought that it was the sunset but it turned out that Larch Mountain was on fire.

Happy Birthday to my Mom!  

This morning, I woke up at 6am and then got ready for church. I knew that I needed to call the hotel again to make sure that the room was canceled which it was. I got dutch and then relaxed before going into church.

After church, I headed up to Mill Plain and went to the car wash and then went to T-mobile. I also had to go to the vape shop to refil on one of the favors that I really like.

I headed home and just relaxed for the rest of the night.

This morning, we got up really early to take my parents to the airport. My dad treated us to breakfast before heading to the airport. It was supper emtional that they were leaving for the next eight days.

After leaving from the airport, I went to Target and then to Dutch bros. I also went to Walmart before heading home.

I got a phone call saying that our trip was back on for Sunday which later it was canceled again which caused me to be on the phone twice more.

I went to bed around midnight.

This morning, I ended up waking up at four in the morning and then falling back to sleep until 7am.

We got ready and headed to the store and then went to Dutch Bros. We also headed to get gas before coming straight home.

We went out to dinner for my mom's birthday which is on Sunday but because they were going to be out of town, we had to do it early.

We came back home and just relaxed for the rest of the night. We also did a load of clothes in the washer and dyer.

Monday: It was a little stressful work day since we knew that they were going to move up kiddos to our room and move kids from our room to another room. My co-teacher was also not here today. We found out that we have a four day work week.

Tuesday: Today was such a busy day as we are still working on keeping up with moving up our kids.

Wednesday: Another busy day with the kiddos.

Thursday: It was a stressful work day. I am glad that we have tomorrow off.

This morning, I got up and let the dog outside. I got ready for work and made my lunch. 

I ended up leaving at 6:05am for work and got to work around 6:38am which I need to switch the time so bad so I am not that early but haven't done that yet.

I ended up working from 7:30 to 4:25pm which is fine since I knew that we had the back to school prep night at 6pm.

I went to Fred Meyer's where my boss texted me saying that we did not need to come back tonight which is good.

I went back to work so I could get the things that I left there thinking that I would be back and then headed to Dutch Bros.

I started to head home and then just relaxed for the rest of the night.

This morning, I went up to the falls that I went last weekend and did a retake since I fell pretty bad last week.

I managed to finish the falls within an hour and then came home to watch service online. 

I also had to fold and put away laundry and write in the plans for next week.

 Another week and now it's time for another work vlog recap. This week, we had the end of the summer BBQ which was so much.

Monday: Today was a good day besides my shoulder hurts.

Birthdays and Labor Day

 Happy Monday everyone! 

This weekend we had three birthdays which were my mom, Step-grandma and best-friend. My mom's birthday was on September 4th. My step-grandma's birthday was September 5th and my best-friend's birthday was September 3rd.

Of course, today is Labor day which means that I don't have to work

 We have some exciting news to share. I never shared that my sister was expecting her second child but she had the little man on August 22, 2022

Oh man! It's time for a new monthly preview! 

This month, we have many birthdays and one anniversary. I do have a birth announcement to share later this week.

We have Labor day and 9/11 this month.

Goodbye August

 What a great month I had! 

This month, I had car repairs done to my car and then got my car back. I ended up getting sick for a little over a week and half. We had my dad's birthday.

September cash stuffing goals

 September is almost here and that means that it's time to start stuffing my Christmas/Birthday fund. 

This month we are going to stuff at least 900 dollars in the blinder which would be great.

New Car Cleaning list

 We have a new cleaning list for the car before we actually take it to work for the first time following the repairs.

Important must do:

* Wipe down every surface with wipes

* Clean windows

* Clean the entire car with a car wash

Small items:

* Put car seat covers back on the entire car

* Put car steering wheel cover on the wheel

* Put on the deer signals

* Set up dash cam

* Put back in car storage containers back into the trunk of the car

* Organize items back to where they go

I am sure that the list will be done by the end of the weekend. I am just super happy to have my car back.

Car repairs review part 3

 It's time to give an overall review with the car repairs shop. I have decided to break it down into parts and share my honest review on it.

Communication: I was not expecting to have that much because of what happpen last time. They did make me mad when I had to reach out to them more than once.

Repairs work: it looks to be done nicely. I must say that my car was not returned wash like it was last time so I will be taking it to get wash

Finished on time: I gave them until August 19th since my parents are leaving on September 3rd and I would rather be driving my car during that time instead of my mom's.

What I would do different next time find another shop.

Car repairs review part 2

 Part 2 is finally up! 

I finished writing the car accident, estimate appointment and drop off review and now we are back with the second part of this review.

Now before I go into the day-to-day review, I am just going to say that I really did not have high expectations because last time they let me down badly so lets see if they make it up to me this time.

August 3- After dropping off the car, I was fully expecting a message telling me the introduction that they gave me last time but there was nothing.

August 4- I finally got that message and still have no idea if they are full sure going to have my car done by the 19th.

August 5- no communication from them today. They are closed on the weekend so I am not expecting anything from them.

August 8- There was no communication from them today.

August 9- There was a phone call and a text message today.

August 10- There was a text from them saying that the repairs were coming along nicely.

August 11- There was no communication from them today.

August 12- I got a text from them saying that repairs were done and painting which means that I should be able to get my car back before the 19th which will be nice.

August 15- I had to reach out to find out if my car will be done or not early. They said that it would mostly be done on Wednesday.

August 16- I am still not sure but I got a phone call.

August 17- I got word that my car is finish and that means that it's time to go get it.

Car repairs review part 1

 I firmly believe in full honest reviews with places that I have gone and have exceptions for. Here is part 1:

June 16- After hitting a deer this morning, I took my car to get an appointment set up for estimate. I was told that they wouldn't be able to take a look at it until July 12th and would be able to send it in late July.

July 12- After going nearly a month since my accident, I finally was able to get it in for an estimate. First thing first, I have to admit being seen early is a good thing. Did the walk around to intake the damage from the deer hitting my car. What makes me mad was the fact that they were trying to say that both my light could be broken or my radiator was damaged but the fact remains that my car would have yelled at me by now. My car literally yells at me for anything and my senor for the light would have gone off. Told me that it could take two to two and half weeks without my car. It's unacceptable for you to sit there and act like I don't know where I hit the deer. You were not there. See where I live, We have a ton of hills and a few straight paths that I know that I was on the straight path. 

August 3- I pretty much told them that my car has to be finished by August 19th so we will see if it gets done on that day.

August 17- My car returned to me

This morning I woke up with no voice, but I was determined to still go to work. I filled up my portable coffee mug with hot cider and went to work but not before stopping at Dutch Bros and to get gas. My voice was still gone by the time that I went to work so I asked if I could go home, and they let me around 10:15am.

I ended up catching up on big brother and watching this week's Raw before getting a text message saying that my car was done so we quickly headed down to go pick it up. I also did some laundry.

We got back home and just relaxed for the rest of the night.

Return of the fair

 In the past two years, we did not have our Clark country fair at all. This year will mark the first year that we have one but here is the question is if we will go.

The answer is no. We just had too many things going on with the fact that my car is in the shop and that both my dad and I work the next day. Also, the fact that I am starting to get sick, it was just not the best idea for us this year.

Work Vlog: August 8 to 12

This week, I went from having a style in my eye to a cold.  This week also turned into a four-day work week since I did not go on Friday.

 Monday: We had a pretty good day since today is the first day of the fact that i'm pretty much the lead teacher in the room now.

Tuesday: I finally got rid of the eye problem but noticed that I am starting to come down with a cough. Today was a good day.

Wednesday: Today was a good day.

Thursday: This morning, I started to feel a lot worse so I asked if I could go home early today. I was supposed to get prep time but it looks like that will be tomorrow.

This morning, we got back to my aunt's house around 12am but we did not go to bed until 1:30am. I did not fall asleep until 2:30am and woke up around 9:30am. My eye started to hurt.

We managed to leave my aunt's house around 1:15pm and got home around 5pm since we hit three different traffic jams. I started to do laundry and just relaxed for the rest of the night.

This morning, we got up and got ready to go to my aunt's house. We knew that we had about a three-hour drive ahead for us. We went to Dutch Bros and then went to Chase. We also got breakfast and gas before heading out of town.

We made it up to my aunt's house before 1pm and just relaxed for a couple of hours before heading to the Casino. There is a game that my mom hates me playing and I managed to win over 700 dollars and got to pay my mom back. They were not ready to head out and I end up only walking out with 60 dollars since I was bored. I should have just watched Netflix on my phone.

This morning, I got up and ready to go this morning. I had to pick up my friend before going to work myself.

I got to work and actually managed to get off of work at 330pm so I went to dutch bros and then headed to drop off my car.

I had to wait for about an hour for my mom to get there so I decided to wait at Starbucks since the internet was not working at the repair shop so I was bored.

We went to the casino before heading home. I had to go to bed to start the day over again tomorrow.

 I was supposed to go to Salem however it got canceled the night before the trip so last minute I checked in with my other friend and found out that they were going to the Cottonwood beach and I haven't ever been so it was prefect. It was so great to be back in the water. I did end up getting a little sunburnt but that's okay.

Work Vlog: July 25 to 29

 Welcome back to another work vlog recap. This week started on an okay note but a surprise headache turned migraine turned things upside down. 

Monday: Today was a good day.

Tuesday: Today was a good day.

Wednesday: This morning I woke up with a small headache but I did not want to take anything now that I am free of meds. Today was a good but rough day.

Thursday: Today was a little rough day. I still have my headache and told my work about it since it turned into a migraine late last night so they ended up sending me home.

Friday: Today was a good day. We have eight children and then two went home before 330pm so I got to be back in my old classroom.

 Welcome to another work vlog. This week, I ended up working all day long with little to no back issues which I am so thankful for. This week, we had nine to eleven children. We moved three children up to their new classrooms and got two from my former classroom. We also had two fire alarms days.

This morning I got up and got ready to go to work. I knew that today was going to be a long day since I had work and babysitting.

I ended up getting off of work before 4pm and knew that it was going to be a long wait since I was going to babysitting at 5:30pm

I got dinner and then head back to the babysitting. The parents did not get home until 9:300pm and then it was time for bed. 

Car repairs starts Today

 Today marks the first day that I won't have my car until later this month. It's really hard to say goodbye to it for just a short time.

I am writing a day in the life for this and it will be up next week so be on the look out for that.

Cash stuffing August goals

 Now that it's August, it's time to share my August cash stuffing goals.

This month, my plan is to save about 980 dollars which is nice. For the first part of the month, my goal is to save about 400 dollars. The second part of the month, my goal is to save about 580 dollars.

Hello August

 Hello August! 

This month, we have one birthday and maybe go to the fair. I also have to get my car fixed.

 Today is the last post of the month even though we still have two more days of this month.

 This month, I was able to save about 600 dollars

 So the good news is that I only have to save about 100 dollars. Between the two paychecks I only have to save about 40 to 60 dollars for those paycheck.

Rental car or Mom's car

 Now that I am facing two to three weeks without my car, there is no way that I can afford a rental car for that much money.

My parents ended up just letting me borrow my mom's car during that week

 Last month, we went to my cousin's wedding and the original plan was to go stay the night but since i was in an accident a week before it turned out to be a not so good idea.

I managed to save about a hundred dollars.

 We went ended up having lunch out in Tigard Oregon with some of the Allen family.

This morning, I didn't fall asleep until close to one am and woke up at 9am. I finished restocking my dad's coffee pods and then went upstairs to watch movies.

I decided that I was going to go for a walk which will be over thirty minutes long so I get all of my goals set for today.

I wrote two days in my lives for yesterday and today. 

I had to reorganize the dvds. I also change my dvd in the player.

This morning, I woke up three different times before finally getting up at 10am.

I went upstairs and just relaxed for the rest of the day. I was hoping to return to church but that didn't happen.

I worked on blog scheduling for the month of July. I also wrote my day in the life from yesterday.

I tried to go to bed around 9:30pm but couldn't fall asleep.

After the movie, we went to lunch and had sushi. We got into the car and headed to Dutch before coming home to relax and take naps.

This morning I woke up around 7am and got ready to go down to Vancouver for shopping. I did not have to work today since I was orginally hoping to spend it with my grandpa.

We came back home and just relaxed for the rest of the day.

 On July 10th, it was my brother-in-law's birthday and today is the oldest girl's birthday that I used to babysit.

This morning, I woke up at 5am and laid in bed until 7am. We got ready for the day and headed out to Redmond.

We made it to Redmond by 11am and had about three hours until my cousin's wedding. We hanged out with Grandma before heading back to venure. 

It was a beautiful ceremony and then we head to the after party. We left Redmond at almost 7pm. We got home around 10pm.

 This week marked my return to work since I only worked three days last week.

Monday: Today was the first day since I was at work on Wednesday and the day went okay. My back still hurts really bad.

Tuesday: Today was another good day however my back hurts really bad. I was hoping that it was better but it just didn't do well.

Wednesday: I am pretty sure that I will be going back to the hospital to find out what is going on with my back on Friday. Other than that, today was a pretty good day.

Thursday: It was an okay day.

Friday: Today I had a good day and I got off an hour early.

Welcome July!

I can't believe that we have five months until the end of 2022 and the start of 2023.

This month, we have three birthdays (Alayah, Tanner, and my niece). We also have Fourth of July.

We have one day off on the fourth of July.

I should be able to get my car fixed by the end of the month which is nice.

This morning, I got up and made an attempt to go to work but I could not do it with my back feeling like it was burning.

I went to Kaiser to see what is going on with my back and they pretty much told me that I pulled another muscle in my back which was okay.

I went home and just relaxed for the rest of the day before getting a phone.

This morning, I got up and ready for the day. I knew that I had to go to work however I did not make it to work.

I did share why a few days ago so I am not going to share it here. I ended up texting my boss and let them know that I was in a car accident and still shaken up.

I ended up cleaning my room and moving things around in my room.

I was not sure if I was going the next day since my back is still hurting.

Hitting a deer

This morning, I was driving to work when out of nowhere a deer came out of the forest. I knew that I was going to hit it because the car behind me was to close to me.

I did end up hitting the deer and it did damange to my car which was not good. I ended up also having to take the day just to calm down and relax. I also knew that I needed to call my insurance since now I am going to have to get my car fix yet again.

I also had to go to the repair shop to see how long I have to drive my car with the damage and it won't be fixed until late July. 

Looks like I will be driving a rental again.

Monday: It was a good day. I was wondering if I was going back to other toddler room but they only told me again that it was temporary which is fine but I have had this experience before when I work at CV and I am not a fan of it.

 This week was short but weird. This week, I also said goodbye to one toddler room and hello to another one.

This morning, I got up around 4am and got ready by 5:30am since I knew that I needed to be out of the house by 6:10am.

I got to dutch at 6:20am and headed to work. Work was long and fine but I did not get to lunch until 10:20am which is okay.

While on lunch my dad wanted to see if we could go see the new top gun movie either 4 or 5pm and I chose four thinking that they would get me off on time but boy was I wrong. They were trying to get me to stay until 420 but I was like I was here at 645am.

I made it to the mall by 406pm and I am not a fan of being late. We had a good time watching the movie and when it got out, I decided to go to Dutch

Catching Up posts on Life as a 32 year old

 Before the weekend ended, I was about a week behind on the blog because last weekend I went to my aunt's house. It was my goal to make sure that I caught back up before the end of the month.

Car troubles

 This actually happen about two Fridays ago but I am finally ready to share what happen with it.

Friday morning, I went out to my car in the morning to go to work and it did not want to start. I actually got it to start but little did I know that this was the start of a very bad car day.

When I went to lunch, I went to go start my car and it did not want to start so I texted my dad to see what time he would be off and if he could jump start my car when he came through so I could at least get home.

I ended up having the tire shop next door jump start it so I could go home. I should have gone to Auto Zone and ended up having my dad jump me again.

Friday: Today was a good day as I made my return back to work after being gone really since last week due to the snow.

 I can't believe that I am at 18 months since I started this job which is good. I am about to reach one year in the toddler room so that is good.
