Work Vlog: October 17 to 21
It's time to do another work vlog recap. This week was really hard emtionally for me due to the Naikia Creek fire.
Monday: I did not go to work since I was still having a hard time about what happened with the fire and evacuation of our home.
Tuesday: I did not go to work again due to the fire.
Wednesday: Today was a hard day for me since I returned to work. The kids were fine but my thoughts were still with the fact that we were not able to go home.
Thursday: Today was an okay day.
Friday: Today was a great day

Fire update- October 18, 2022
Currently so thankful for those that are currently fighting the fire up on Livingston and larch mountain.
Hoping that we get go home sometime this week.

Day in the life: October 16, 2022

This morning, we got up and got to relaxed just a little bit before getting ready to go.
Around 10:47am, I received news that we were in level two and that we needed to get ready to leave.
Around 11:15am, I received news that we were in level three and that it was time to get out of our house.
We were supposed to have my grandpa up at the house but now we can't. We made it back to Vancouver before 3pm. We made it up to the house to get some clothes and dad's truck.
Hopefully we can go home in a few days.
