Last Burton of 2016

Today marks the last day of Burton of 2016. I can't believe that 12 months have gone by. 

Christmas Exchange

So before we get into our family tradition for our Christmas exchange. We normally have about two of them and it goes pretty well. It's a lot of fun.

 Everyone 18 or older who brings a gift can participate in the gift exchange. Please spend at least $25.00 for a gift that is appropriate for a male or female. Please bring a small gift for your child to open if they are under the age of 18.

Some people do it wonderful and others not so much.

Snowflake, the ELF

The Girls, that I watched, have the Elf on the shelf and they both do pretty good with it. We don't always remember to move and plus sometimes it will get move twice a day since we don't talk with our words. (Don't know why)

Their elf actually comes out the week of Thanksgiving so it's been about a week since she has came out

Mountain Gateway!

Over the weekend, we went up for our annual family Christmas party that we do during the first Saturday of December. 

As we were opening presents, it SNOWED and it also hailed as we were leaving. The hail quickly stopped and it started to snow again.  

Pearl Harbor

Today marks 75 years later of Pearl Harbor. I can not believe that it's been that long. In fall of 2006, my family toured Pearl Harbor for the first time. Then in the summer of 2008, we did it again.

You can't express the feelings that you have when you go through and learn what happen to that day. We take advantage of what we have and open ourselves for an attack by others. We need to get our country back to where we need to be.

We pray for the families that were affected by this horrible act.

One year later

Today marks one year since we started this new blog. I was not sure if we were going to last the whole year since I have my other blog.

Ahola Decemeber!

This month is turning to be a very busy month for us from family events to just work in general. I also have to finished my Christmas shopping.
